Apply For Reimbursement

The purchaser and a General Motors dealer representative will need to complete and sign the reimbursement application. Submit the application with a paid receipt for the eligible accessibility equipment and installation.

Note: If your Chevrolet Traverse is equipped with a BraunAbility ® lowered floor conversion, you are not required to complete the Dealer Information or Confirmation section of the reimbursement application.

Accessibility Equipment Installer

When having any aftermarket device installed in your vehicle, you’re responsible for contacting an independent licensed accessibility equipment upfitter * to have it properly installed. A good place to start is the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA). They are certified through the Quality Assurance Program, a nationally recognized accreditation program for accessibility equipment installers.

for an Evaluation

Before selecting a vehicle, consult with a driver evaluator (Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist or CDRS). Your CDRS will evaluate you and assess your driving abilities, suggest driving aids and determine if you need to have your driver’s license modified.
